Dorsan and Corbin posing for mom
Corbin running for the bus.
Corbin getting on the bus.Corbin started Kindergarten today. It is hard to believe how fast the time flies. It was very comical this morning. I went in and woke the kids up before I started to get ready thinking that because they slept in all summer I would have trouble getting them up. They woke right up and jumped out of bed and were waiting on me. They had gotten dressed and were watching cartoons by the time I was finished getting ready. We got to grandma and grandpa hern's house where they catch the bus about 5 minutes before the bus so not alot of time for photos. The kids had just put down their book bags and turned on the T.V. when we see the bus coming down the road. Corbin was so excited that he started running for the bus. We were trying to yell at him and tell him to hold on for pictures. Luckily with the small community the bus drivers understand the wanting of photos the 1st day. We finally got Corbin stopped long enough to get his mugshot and then he was ready to sit down on the bus forgetting all about giving kisses to mom and dad. We had to finagle those and then he was off like a shot again. We even had to tell Dorsan to stop so we could get his mugshot as well. He came home very excited about his 1st day of school. What he remembers most (because it is the most important part of his day) is that if he gets in trouble and loses his apples then he loses his recess. They had a busy day and thinking of how busy their day was you would think they would go right to bed right. Well I am having a time getting them to sleep tonight. I know I'm beat after my day at school. I never understood why I heard teachers talking about going to sleep at about 8 o'clock and now I know. I come home and am tired. Of course that may have something to do with my new schedule and the fact that I don't get to sleep in anymore. We already have the 1st birthday invitation of the year, so it looks like it will be a busy one. Until next time
